School Meals
As all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal, packed lunches are not allowed. Once in Year 3, children may either bring in a packed lunch or have a school dinner. These cost £2.20 per day or £11 per week and must be paid for in advance.
Children have the option of toast at breaktimes, this costs 50p per week, payable a half term/term in advance on Arbor. All children have the option of free fruit/ veg choices at breaktime. Children are entitled to free milk up until the term after they turn 5. Those who are entitled to Free School Meals will continue to be entitled to free milk. If you are not entitled and wish for your child to have milk, there is a cost of 25p a day or £1.25 a week. If you have not previously paid for toast/ milk, please ensure you also notify the school office.
Children having packed lunch are asked not to bring in cans or glass bottles and to avoid fizzy drinks and sweets as we are a healthy eating school. We would also ask that you do not bring in nuts or use peanut butter as a spread, as we have children with severe nut allergies.
We regularly update our menus and try to include our children's favourite foods.
